Grandparents in D.C. for Daniel's 13th

This May Ron and Nancy flew to Maryland from Oregon to celebrate Daniel's becoming a teenager. While they were here, they accompanied the boys to many of their "events", such as their soccer games (and practices) Daniel's annual school science night, swimming at the pool, and Ron's annual trips to the Kensington Hardware City.

Ron and Nancy both got the chance to see the boys play soccer, which is something they enjoy whenever they come out to D.C.

On Daniel's birthday (May 22nd), we all ate burgers, dogs, and the cake Nancy baked. Daniel unwrapped a few gifts, the first one being his birthday book (thank you to everyone who wrote in it!)
