Great snow conditions

Since we had the day off, we drove up to Liberty Mountain Resort, PA, to go skiing for a day. The huge blizzard last weekend gave us great ski conditions, and there were very few people there. We hope to buy our own ski equipment soon, because we are interested in going regularly.

We measured around 23 inches on our front lawn... probably more than what we measured in 2010 when Snowmageddon came and caused us to stay without power for 36 hours straight. This time, we didn't lose power at all. Micah got to go sledding several times, and Eli and I made some money shoveling snow. We have lost five days of school because most streets, including ours, weren't plowed until Tuesday. The storm was over by Sunday morning. We hope that it won't snow again, so that we don't have to have the school year extended, like we did the last two years.
