With Thanksgiving weekend still going on, and 65-degree weather, we decided to get out of the house and take the Metro down to the national mall. We saw most of the memorials, the tidal basin (though none of the cherry trees there were blooming), and got ourselves a nice, long walk. It was fun to see the nation's capital again!

The feast is prepared!

With my dad in Oregon, it was just us and Abahagoy for Thanksgiving this year. We had dinner with him on Wednesday night, and had another dinner on Thursday night at Amoy's. There was much to be eaten, and there was much to be taken home afterwards!
